Prof. Tsai-Wei Wu leads the Process Systems Engineering and Sustainable Production Lab at the Department of Chemical Engineering, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU). Her work spans the full process systems spectrum — from conceptual design and detailed process configuration to control strategies — with a current focus on sustainable, net-zero strategies for the chemical manufacturing industry.

She earned her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University (Process Systems Engineering Lab, advised by Prof. I-Lung Chien) and her B.S./M.S. from National Tsing Hua University. Before joining NCKU she spent over six years as a process development engineer in industry, and was a postdoctoral researcher and project assistant professor at Tohoku University, Japan. Her research interests include systematic evaluation of CO₂ capture, utilization & storage (CCUS); life cycle assessment; adsorption separation; and plant-wide process optimization, energy integration, and techno-economic & environmental analysis.
